The anchor is down off a quiet beach, lunch is cleared, and the captain asks the question every owner eventually hears: “Shall we put the slide out?” Five minutes later the first guest is flying off the upper deck into turquoise water, and everyone else is lining up. If you’re picturing that on your own boat, the next question is the practical one: how much does a yacht slide cost? The honest answer is that most yacht slides are sold by quote, and very few makers publish a price. This guide shows the published prices we could verify, what they bought, what pushes a quote up or down, and how to ask for one.
In short: few yacht slide prices are public. The ones we could verify are €10,499 for a Yachtbeach Magic Yachtslide 4.6 (for railings 270 to 350 cm above the water, out of stock when checked), about $2,899 for the small Yachtbeach Mini Side (read from a search snippet), and $6,995 for a FunAir adjustable slide back in 2014. Larger and custom slides from FunAir, FreeStyle and Superyacht Tenders & Toys are quote-only.
How much does a yacht slide cost? The prices we could verify
| Slide | What it fits | Published price | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Yachtbeach Mini Side | Smaller boats; 245 cm high, 300 cm slide, 27.5 kg | About $2,899 | From a search snippet of Nootica’s page (the page blocked our fetch); confirm on the live page |
| FunAir Adjustable Yacht Slide (2014) | Railings 4 to 5.5 m above the water | $6,995 in 2014 | Launched at the 2014 Fort Lauderdale boat show; a historical price, not today’s |
| Yachtbeach Magic Yachtslide 4.6 | Railings 270 to 350 cm above the water; 46 kg with bag | €10,499 | Ritz Marine (Malta), out of stock when we checked on October 9, 2026 |
| Yachtbeach 5.2, 6.2 and 7.2 | Railings 380 to 620 cm | Quote | The 6.2 and 7.2 are handled by two crew |
| FunAir FunSize to Hanger Extreme | 1.5 m to 9.5 m drops | Quote | FunSize and Hanger Mini held in QuickShip stock |
| FunAir Riser, Self-Lifting, Bow, Stern, Curved, Flume | Custom, up to over 12 m | Quote | Custom only |
| FreeStyle Cruiser | Made to fit each yacht | Quote | Sealed-air; custom colours and logos |
| Superyacht Tenders & Toys | Made to order | Quote | Flat or 45-degree entry; lifting bridles |
That 2014 figure is useful for one reason: when FunAir and its distributor National Marine Suppliers launched the adjustable slide, they described $6,995 as “about half” of what a custom-designed inflatable slide usually cost a yacht owner at the time. It tells you custom slides cost noticeably more than stock ones, but it is twelve years old, so don’t budget from it. Our best yacht slides guide lists further prices from other sellers.
Why most yacht slides are quote-only
A yacht slide has to match one yacht. FunAir says the right size “depends on your rail-to-waterline drop and your yacht’s deck layout”, and that its engineers specify each slide from the yacht’s General Arrangement drawings or simple measurements, then build a 3D CAD model for every custom order. The slide also has to hang 10 to 15 cm clear of the rails and tie to proper anchor points. With that much fitting, makers prefer to quote after they’ve seen your boat.
What pushes a yacht slide price up or down
- The drop. The bigger the rail-to-waterline height, the longer and heavier the slide. Yachtbeach’s 4.6 weighs 46 kg with its bag; the 6.2 about 116 kg.
- Stock or custom. FunAir’s FunSize and Hanger Mini ship from QuickShip stock within days; Riser, Self-Lifting, Bow, Stern, Curved and Flume slides are custom only.
- Design. Self-lifting arms, curved runs, bow mounts and multi-deck slides all add engineering. See self-lifting yacht slides.
- Branding. FunAir and FreeStyle both offer custom colours and the yacht’s name or logo.
- What’s in the box. FunAir’s dealer lists an integrated water distribution system, a RapidFlate blower (when appropriate) and an electric pump. Ask whether pumps, blowers, the water system, lifting straps and a storage bag are included.
- Delivery, duties and installation. AquaBanas notes on NauticExpo that its slide prices exclude delivery, duties and installation. Shipping a bulky slide internationally adds up.
- Warranty. FunAir states a 5-year limited warranty on its yacht slides; compare like with like.
Costs beyond the slide itself
The quote is not the whole bill. Plan for the time and space the slide takes on board:
- Crew time. FunAir says the FunSize and Hanger Mini take one or two crew under 15 minutes, a Hanger about 20 minutes and a Riser around 60 minutes.
- Storage. The Yachtbeach 4.6 packs to 96 x 61 x 35 cm. Bigger slides need a crane or davit and a lifting plan; FunAir and SYTT both supply lifting straps or bridles.
- Lead time. QuickShip slides ship within days; FunAir says lead times for fully custom slides vary with the design (its custom islands and sea pools ship in about 35 days). If you want it for summer, ask in winter.
- Care. Cleaning, drying and occasional repairs. See our maintenance guide.
Ways to keep a yacht slide price down
- Use a lower deck if it works. A smaller drop means a smaller slide. A slide from the main deck may suit your guests just as well as one from the sun deck.
- Check whether a stock size fits. If your drop falls inside a QuickShip or catalogue range (FunAir’s FunSize and Hanger Mini, Yachtbeach’s railing-height models), you avoid a fully custom design.
- Skip the extras you won’t use. Logos, special colours and unusual shapes are where custom work grows.
- Order early. Plenty of lead time avoids express shipping and lets you compare quotes properly.
- Compare the full package. A lower price without a blower, water system or lifting straps can cost more once you add them.
How to get an accurate yacht slide quote
- Measure the drop from the rail you’d use to the waterline, with the yacht at normal load. Our rail-to-waterline guide shows how.
- Have your GA drawing ready. FunAir calls a scaled General Arrangement drawing its preferred method.
- Decide where it goes: over the side, from the bow, off the stern or from the top deck.
- Say how you’ll use it: family use or a busy charter calendar changes what makers recommend.
- Ask two or three makers for a written quote with everything included listed.

Yacht slide price questions
What is the cheapest yacht slide?
Among the prices we could verify, the small Yachtbeach Mini Side at about $2,899 (read from a search snippet, so confirm it). Budget slides sold online often don’t publish the specs that matter on a yacht, such as rail height range and rider limit.
Why won’t FunAir give a price online?
FunAir sizes each slide to the yacht’s drop and deck layout and designs custom orders in 3D CAD, so it quotes per yacht. Its QuickShip models are still quoted, but ship from stock.
Does the price include the pump?
It varies. FunAir’s dealer lists a RapidFlate blower (when appropriate) and an electric pump with the Hanger. Ritz Marine’s Yachtbeach page mentions inflating with an electric pump but doesn’t say one is included. Ask.
Is a cheap online yacht slide worth it?
Check what the listing actually states. For a yacht you need the rail-height range it fits, the rider limit, how it attaches and what it’s made of. If a seller can’t tell you those, a stock slide from a maker that sizes by rail-to-waterline is the safer buy.
How long does a custom yacht slide take?
FunAir says custom slide lead times vary with the design; for comparison, its custom islands and sea pools ship in about 35 days. QuickShip slides ship within days.
Is it cheaper to charter a yacht that has a slide?
For a one-off holiday, it can be the simpler way. Charter brokers such as Fraser and Northrop & Johnson list yachts with waterslides, and Fraser advises booking peak season at least six months ahead.
